Togo and Azerbaijan will sign an agreement on customs cooperation, chairman of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee Aydin Aliyev told the media today.
"The Togolese delegation paid a visit to Azerbaijan in 2012," he added. "Our delegation will pay a return visit to this country in early November. An agreement on customs cooperation will be initialed between the two countries in the field of human resource development. It will be signed during my visit to Togo next year."
According to him, Togo is interested in learning from Azerbaijani customs officers; cynology is of particular interest.
"During the visit, we will provide our colleagues with dogs specially trained to search for narcotics and interactive equipment," he said. "The State Committee is ready to share its experience with interested countries. Some African countries have already expressed a desire to cooperate with Azerbaijan."
