The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry has announced the operating results of the top 10 insurance companies for January -March , 2014. Over 82 percent of the total insurance payments accounted for them.
Some 28 insurance companies and one reinsurance company operated in Azerbaijan during that period.

Pasha Sıgorta led the ranking on insurance payments on three months which accounted for more than 22 percent of premiums paid by all companies in January-March. During the reporting period, the company paid 6.39 million manat.
The next in the ranking is Atashgah Sigorta with payments totalling 2.97 million (10.4 percent of all payments) and Azersigorta with payments of 2.94 million (10.29 percent).
Total premiums amounted to 117.94 million manat in January- March, 2014, a 15.37 percent increase in a year and payments in this period reached 28.57 million manat, a 12.49 percent increase.
The Azerbaijani Finance Ministry's report did not include the figures of the only reinsurance company AzRE.
