Turkey increased the export of goods by 4.6 percent up to $13.660 billion in September 2014 compared to the same month of last year, the website of the Turkish Statistics Institute says.

Turkey reduced import operations by 0.2 percent to $20.585 billion in September compared to the same month of last year.

At the same time, Turkey's exports to the EU countries totaled $ 6.2 billion in September or by 7.1 percent more compared to the same month of last year.

During this period, Turkey exported goods worth $1.321 billion to Germany, $921 million - to Great Britain, $911 million - to Iraq, $602 million - the US.

Turkey imported goods worth $2.318 billion from China, $ 2.25 billion - from Russia, $1.859 billion from Germany and $1.71 billion from the US in September.
