Astana will establish recycling of glass waste, said the press service of "Directorate for preparation and holding of the International specialized exhibition EXPO-2017" LLP.
It is reported that it all began with the signing of the Memorandum of cooperation under the project ECO-EFES.
"Directorate for preparation and holding of the International specialized exhibition EXPO-2017" LLP under the Governor's office of Astana city together with "Efes Kazakhstan" and the republican public association PosadiDerevo.kz will sign the Memorandum under the project "ECO-EFES", providing the collection, transportation and delivery of glass for recycling in housing complexes of Astana," the press release of the LLP said.
The problem of recycling glass waste has now become one of the most pressing. The production of glass products requires the enormous energy, as the glass is one of the most difficult waste for recycling (it can be destroyed dozens of years) and causes the significant environmental damage.
