In 2015 Kapital Bank has completed two successful projects which led to awards from American Chamber of Commerce of Azerbaijan. In the competition conducted by AmCham for evaluation of business units taking part in social responsibility projects, Kapital Bank distinguished in two nominations, the bank said Feb. 7.
The bank ranked first with its project implemented in Goranboy region of Azerbaijan. The aim of the project was to provide drinking water to Khojaly refugees settled in this region. The second corporate social responsibility project of the bank was blood donation to the people suffering from thalassemia. This project brought the bank third place in the competition.
Marketing and PR department director of the Bank, Vusal Naghiyev stated that such projects have high moral importance to the bank.
"This competition once more shows that CRPs are closely followed and mean a lot to the society," he said. "It is inspiring for the bank and drives us for new missions."
