Azerbaijan's Internet market is 0.41 percent of a total volume of the Asian market, a report on the number of Internet users, published by the Internet World Stats (IWS), said.
According to IWS, as of January 1, 2015, the Internet penetration level in Azerbaijan is 58.7 percent. The number of Internet users exceeds 5.737 million people. Azerbaijan is ahead of Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan on this index.
Kazakhstan ranks first among the countries of the South Caucasus and Central Asia, IWS report said. The number of users is 9.7 million people there.
