Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree by approving the state program of establishing the enterprises for the production of various kinds of electronic equipment, the country's government said July 10.
According to the document, this decision was made to create, develop the electronics sector in the domestic industry on the innovative basis and produce the electronic goods for the domestic and foreign markets.
Moreover, the matter rests in establishing the facilities producing and processing the end product for the market, the corresponding infrastructure, as well as accelerating the export potential of the country.
The plan of implementing the above-mentioned state program for 2016-2020 was approved in accordance with the document.
The Industry Ministry of Turkmenistan, the Academy of Sciences and other relevant ministries and departments were instructed to properly take the measures envisaged in this state program.
