The Eurofast regional business advisory services organization intends to start operating in Azerbaijan, the Eurofast Director General Christodoulos Damianou told Trend Oct.5 at the Eurofast seminar in Baku dedicated to investing in Europe.
This is the first event that the company organizes in Azerbaijan and it is of introductory, exploratory nature, he said, adding that Azerbaijan is a target country for expansion of the company's activity.
The Eurofast already has offices in Moscow, Kiev and Tbilisi, the director general said and expressed belief that in the future, in the latest terms, in a year and a half, the Eurofast will be able to open its office in Baku as well.
The Eurofast is ready to support Azerbaijani companies in the organization of work abroad, according to Damianou.
Azerbaijan is a small but rich country, which is aimed at foreign markets, he said, adding that this is exactly what the organization deals with, namely helps to enter foreign markets.
One can say that the Eurofast constantly accompanies companies in the process of their entering foreign markets, he said, adding that this is namely the scope of the organization's interests in Azerbaijan.
Damianou went on to add that the organization already works with a number of Azerbaijani companies in Romania, Montenegro and some other countries of the Balkan region.
He noted that the Eurofast is ready to render Azerbaijani companies a range of services that can be divided into two categories: tax and financial consulting.
There are both traditional and specialized among these services, Damianou said, adding that the organization is also ready to provide services in search of potential partners for Azerbaijani companies abroad.
Eurofast renders business consulting services in Southeast Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean. Apart from Moscow, Kiev and Tbilisi, the company's offices are also located in Nicosia, Athens, Thessaloniki, Sofia, Bucharest, Belgrade, Podgorica, Tirana, Skopje, Pristina, Sarajevo, Zagreb, Cairo, Alexandria, Erbil, Beirut and Beijing. In addition, the company plans to soon open offices in Dubai and London.
