Russia's Novorossiysk International Trade Sea Port shipped 6.53 million tons of oil in January 2016, compared to 7.23 million tons in January 2015, the port said March 11.
Novorossiysk port shipped 2.83 million tons of oil products during this period compared to 2.97 million tons in January 2015.
The port handled 11.91 million tons of various cargo in January 2016 compared to 12.67 million tons handled during the same period in 2015.
The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) ships its oil through the Novorossiysk port. Oil is delivered there via Baku-Novorossiysk oil pipeline.
