A volume of revenues obtained from mobile services hit 255.9 million manat in Azerbaijan in January-April 2016, the State Statistics Committee's report said.
As of May 18, the official exchange rate is 1.5017 AZN/USD.
The income in the mobile communication sector declined by 8.4 percent compared to January-April 2015.
Information and communication services worth 514.9 million manat were rendered for Azerbaijan's population and organizations in January-April 2016 or 11 percent more than in January-April 2015.
Some 81.1 percent of income received through the sector accounted for the non-state enterprises during this period.
Around 71.8 percent of the total volume of information and communication services accounted for the services rendered to the population.
Some 49.7 percent of a total volume of obtained income accounted for mobile services.
