Belarusian plant keen to export dairy products to Azerbaijan
Baku, Azerbaijan, June 5
By Azad Hasanli – Trend:
Belarusian Polotsk Dairy Plant OJSC is interested in exporting its products to Azerbaijan, the company’s Deputy Director Natalya Zhogaleva told Trend.
“We want to introduce our dairy products to Azerbaijani consumers,” she said. “As far as I know, four stores of Belarusian goods already operate in Azerbaijan, and we want to sell our products through these stores.”
“Polotsk Dairy Plant OJSC already supplies its goods to Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Syria, Kazakhstan, Iran, Mongolia and other countries,” she noted. “The company has no experience of working in Azerbaijan yet, however, the company is very interested in exporting its dairy products to this Caspian state.”
At the same time, Zhogaleva added, Azerbaijan manufactures high-quality products, but unfortunately Belarusian consumers are not familiar with them.
“We hope that this situation will improve in the near future, especially given that the first Azerbaijani Trade House has recently opened in Minsk city, and high-quality products are presented there,” she said.
