Turkish exports up by over 25%

In July 2017, exports from Turkey amounted to $12.6 billion, which is 28.3 percent more than in July 2016, reads a report of the Turkish Statistical Institute.

Meanwhile, Turkey imported goods worth $21.4 billion in July 2017, or 46.2 percent more than in July 2016.

The share of Turkish exports to the EU amounted to 47.4 percent in July 2017, according to the report.

In January-July 2017, Turkish exports grew by 10.6 percent, compared to the same period of 2016, and totaled $90.061 billion.

“Import in Turkey during the period amounted to $129.807 billion, which is 13.5 percent more compared to January-July 2016,” reads the report.
