The industrial production index of Kazakhstan stood at 108.3 percent as of September 2017, the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan said in a message Oct. 12.
The production of crude oil, natural gas, metal ores and coal increased during January-September 2017 compared to the same period of the previous year.
The production of food products, pharmaceuticals, as well as output of metallurgical industry, machine building and oil refining industry also increased, according to the ministry.
At the same time, the production of tobacco products, rubber, plastic and optical products declined.
There was an increase in industrial production in 14 regions of Kazakhstan.
