The Mevlana tunnel in the central Turkish province of Sivas will be commissioned in mid-2018, Turkey’s Ministry of Transport, Maritime and Communication told Trend Nov. 14.
At this stage, work is underway on the tunnel’s construction to built the remaining ten meters, said the ministry.
Total length of the tunnel will be 550 meters, according to the message.
The Mevlana tunnel’s construction began in April 2016.
