The rate of the euro declined against the national currency of Uzbekistan during the week.
The Central Bank said in a statement that the official euro exchange rate since December 5, 2017 is equal to 9.608 UZS, which is 44.81 UZS lower than last week.
The rate of the Russian ruble also slightly decreased by 1.31 soums to 137.57 UZS.
The exchange rate of the UZS to the US dollar remained practically unchanged and demonstrated a slight increase by 0.45 soums, amounting to 8, 096 UZS.
Thanks to the introduction of currency liberalization in Uzbekistan, since September 5 2017, citizens of the country sell currency in banks at a real market rate.
The purchase of currency is carried out through its crediting to international payment cards for use in foreign countries.
