During ten months of 2017, 950,840 cars were registered in the administrative police of Kazakhstan, which is 19 percent more than in the same period last year, the press service of the Association of Kazakhstan Automobile Business (AKAB) said in a message.
Of the mentioned amount, 888,211 cars were re-registered. The number of cars initially registered was 62,629 which is 7 percent more than the same period last year.
In November, the number of registered cars reached 101,794, exceeding last year's result by 29 percent and for the first time since 2014 having crossed the mark of 100,000 registrations.
Last month, 7,027 vehicles were registered for the first time, including all types of cars, motorcycles and trailers. The figure is more by 34 percent compared to October 2016, when the figure was 5,227 vehicles.
At the same time, if in 2016 the average monthly growth rate of primary sales and imports was 0.04 percent, then in 2017 - 7.6 percent, which indicates a steady recovery of the automotive market this year.
