An airport in the Siirt province in the southeast of Turkey will resume operation in June this year, the Turkish Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications said in a message.
All necessary work is being carried out to resume the airport’s operation, according to the message.
The airport was closed because due to its technical capabilities, it was unable to receive big passenger and cargo aircraft.
The airport in Turkey’s Siirt province was built in 1994.
