Kazakhstan’s «FLY JET.KZ» and «Jet Airlines» passed the authorization procedure for flights to Europe, the Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan said in a message.
Presently, seven Kazakh airlines implement regular flights to the countries of the European Union - Air Astana JSC, Prime Aviation JSC, Kaz Air Jet JSC, Comlux-KZ Airline LLP, SCAT JSC passed the authorization procedure of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
The committee also stressed that the EASA lifted all restrictions on flights to Europe for the Kazakh airlines.
The European Commission introduced requirements for mandatory authorization of third-country operators in April 2014, for the operators, conducting flights from third countries to the EU countries.
This authentication procedure is carried out by the European Aviation Safety Agency. According to the mentioned authorization procedure, the operator must independently submit an application to the EASA in advance of the commencement date of the flight.
