The total cost of projects with the participation of Azerbaijan Investment Company (AIC) reached $1.2 billion, AIC Executive Director Rovshan Najaf said at a press conference in Baku March 5.
Foreign investments worth $450 million were attracted to these projects, and this contributed to the creation of 2,600 new jobs, he said.
Net profit of the AIC amounted to 2.7 million manats in 2017, he added.
The company’s revenues for the reporting period amounted to almost 4.8 million manats while expenditures stood at 1.8 million manats, he said.
The company also received dividends worth 1.25 million manats in 2017, he added.
AIC has been operating since 2006.
