As of Feb. 1, 2018, 89 investment projects with total value of $1.31 billion were registered in Turkmenistan with participation of Iranian companies, the Turkmen Finance and Economy Ministry said in a message.
A total of 142 facilities of various forms of ownership with the participation of Iranian capital were registered in Turkmenistan, including limited liability partnerships, subsidiaries, representative offices and branches.
Successfully implemented major joint projects, including the commissioning of the Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran transnational railway are vivid proof of the effective partnership.
On March 27, Ashgabat hosted a joint business forum timed to an official visit of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to Turkmenistan.
Several Iranian companies were represented at the forum.
