Transportation of passengers by air transport increases in June in Turkey

The number of passengers carried by the four main airports of Turkey- named after Sabiha Gokcen, named after Ataturk, Esenboga and Antalya airports, exceeded 1,486,899 passengers in June 2018, which is 171,548 more than in June 2017, the Ministry of Transport, Shipping and Communications of Turkey told Trend July 6.
The total volume of transportation of passengers by air transport in Turkey amounted to 1,738,189 passengers in June 2018, which is 205,324 passengers more as compared with the same month of 2017.
