Uzbekistan to create its first seed clusters

First seed clusters for the production of crop seeds will be created in Uzbekistan under the conditions of a public-private partnership, Uzbek media reported referring to the decree of the head of state.
New clusters will appear in Bukhara, Kashkadarya, Namangan, Samarkand, Surkhandarya and Fergana regions.
Mirziyoyev instructed the government to take the necessary steps by the end of December, providing for the definition of specific land areas on which the clusters will be located and of the sources of funding.
