Azerbaijan's Goychay brandy factory plans to increase the supply of alcoholic beverages to neighboring countries, a source in the company told Trend.
The source noted that in 2H2018, the factory began to increase the production of brandy and cognac spirit.
"Presently, the factory mainly produces these two types of alcoholic beverages, and more than 60 percent accounts for the cognac spirit. The total annual output of brandy products is up to seven tons, but in 2018 we have already started increasing these figures in order to expand exports," the source said.
"We mainly plan to increase exports to the Russian and Georgian markets."
The plant has a Certificate of Conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents and a Hygiene Certificate issued by the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan.
The company has installed modern equipment of Russian and German production.
