The “Friend of SMEs” service of Azerbaijan’s Agency for the Development of SMEs began its activity in the Ganja and Yevlakh cities, Azerbaijan’s Economy Ministry told Trend.
The service will operate in the Ganja Youth House and the Regional Development Center of the Economy Ministry in Yevlakh, the ministry said.
The “Friend of SMEs”, in accordance with the concept of friendship with small and medium-sized businesses, will support entrepreneurs operating in Ganja, Yevlakh and adjacent regions to create, develop and expand businesses through various mechanisms.
The “Friend of SMEs” service is a mechanism that works closely with entrepreneurs, provides them with various services and comprehensive support. The first “Friend of SMEs” was launched in September this year in Masalli as part of the opening of the Masalli Industrial Park.
Recently, the services of “Friend of SMEs” have been presented to entrepreneurs in Khachmaz, Siyazan and Shabran. By the end of this year, there are plans to launch the activities of the service in Guba and Gusar, and work is underway to create "Friend of SMEs” in other major cities and districts of Azerbaijan.
