In January 2019, housing prices in Azerbaijan rose by 5.87 percent compared to the same period last year, Nusret Ibrahimov, director general of MBA Group consulting company, real estate expert, told Trend.
He said that prices in the secondary housing market of Baku decreased by 0.1 percent for the month and increased by 6.41 percent compared to the same period last year.
In the primary housing market, there is a decrease of 1.27 percent for the month and an increase of 9.3 percent compared with January last year.
Regarding other main segments of the real estate market, the expert noted that prices on the land market showed a decline of 1.47 percent for the month and 5.03 percent for the year.
The expert noted that in the market of commercial properties the prices rose by 0.47 percent during the month, and there was a decrease of 6.77 percent for the year.
“Prices for courtyard houses decreased by 1.27 percent for the month and increased by 6.98 percent compared to the same period of 2018,” Ibrahimov said.
