Uzbekistan to allocate over $5M for development of Jizzakh region

Uzbek Ministry of Finance has envisaged to allocate 4 billion soums to each district of Jizzakh region (except for Mirzachul district) to repair social facilities and provide the population with drinking water, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
It is planned to allocate 2 billion soums for each district at the expense of the rest of the country's budget at the beginning of year for a total amount of 22 billion soums.
Out of the additional part of the country's budget revenues in the first quarter, 2 billion soums will be allocated for each district, and in April 2019, 22 billion soums will be allocated.
The followingwill be provided by Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy and Industry, Ministry of Public Education, Ministry of Health and the Administration of Jizzakh region:
-The construction and equipping of a 60-bed maternity complex in Farish district;
-The construction and equipment of secondary schools for 630 people in Danglik district "Yangi hayet;
-The repair of schools in the worst condition in the region on the basis of Jizzakh regional administration and Uzbek Ministry of Education.
The administration of Jizzakh region ensures the development of design and estimate documentation of facilities within one month.
Uzbek Ministry of Construction is responsible for carrying out examination of design and estimate documentation for objects included in the Investment Program of Uzbekistan for 2019 and the corresponding architectural and construction state control for compliance with the quality requirements of construction and installation work.
