Iran's shipment volume drops 13.9%

The volume of loading and unloading in Iran's ports during past 11 months of current Iranian year(March21,2018) has dropped 13.9 percent

The volume of discharge and loading in 17 ports of the country from March 21 to February 19 was 125.69 million tons while last Iranian year(March21,2017) loading and unloading weighted 146 million tons , Trend reports citing ISNA.

Loading and unloading operation during past 11 months included 18.9 million tons of containers sector, 44.36 million tons dry bulk, 4.69 million tons liquid bulk, 17.62 million tons of general cargo and 40.12 million tons ofpetroleum products.

However the discharge and loading operation in container sector had 34.8 percent drop while oil material reduced 11.5 percent, general cargo fell 12.7 percent, liquid bulk dropped 12.7 percent and dry bulk had 6.3 percent cut.

While total of 146 million tons have been loaded and unloaded in the country's ports in last Iranian year(March21,2017) included 28.98 million tons in containers sector, 47.35 million tons of dry bulk, 4.15 million tons liquid bulk, 20.18 tons of general cargo and 45,35 million tons of oil materials.

The ports included Abadan, Astara,Imam Khomeini, Amirabad, Anzali, Bushehr, Jask, Chabahar, Khorramshahr, Shahid Bahonar, Shahid Rajaee, Freydunkenar, Qeshm, Ganaveh, Lengeh, Neka and Noushahr.
