Two solar power stations have been put into operation in the Khormoj Industrial Park, located in the Dashti County of Iran’s southern Bushehr Province, Trend reports referring to IRNA.
During the groundbreaking event held for the solar power stations, Abdul Karim Gravand, governor of Iran's Bushehr Province, said that the stations were commissioned in an area of 8,000 square meters.
According to Gravand, the stations can potentially produce 200 kilowatt hours of electricity.
"24 billion rials (app. $571,000) have been spent by the private sector for the installation of the stations," he said.
Gravand said that the stations were installed within a 2-month period.
Abdollah Naderi, Governor of Dashti County of Iran's Bushehr Province, said that 4 solar panels with 400 kilowatt hours had been previously commissioned in the region.
With a population of 86,000, Dashti County is located in the southern parts of Iran’s Bushehr Province.
