The Azerbaijani government has announced about the construction of a large modern plant for the production of oil and gas equipment and high-quality metal products for the marine industry, Trend reports referring to the ‘Market Analysis Azerbaijan 2019’ publication of the German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce.
In particular, according to the government, funding for the project must reach $18 million.
The plant will be built on a 127,900-square-meter-plot in Zira settlement (Khazar district of Baku) and will be designed and built by ADO-G Construction, Equipment and Installation company.
The project is expected to be paid off in six and a half years.
The plant is one of the subprojects envisaged for the expansion of the new marine industrial complex of the Zira sea port.
The Zira seaport was commissioned in 2013.
