Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, April 15
By Huseyn Hasanov – Trend:
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has instructed to conduct an inspection of all constructed facilities of industrial and social importance, Trend reports with reference to the local TV channel Altyn Asyr.
At the government meeting, it was noted that the state allocates significant funds for the construction of these facilities.
“Recently, however, some new buildings have been commissioned with delay, while others, although already built, remain ownerless,” the Turkmen president said.
Pointing to the weakening of control over this work by the relevant departments, the president ordered to inspect all constructed facilities and take the appropriate measures.
As of January 2018, about 1,900 large facilities with a total value of about $47 billion are under construction in Turkmenistan, 1,800 of which are built by domestic companies.
