By Elnur Baghishov – Trend:

During the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2019), about $3 billion (in the official rate) have been allocated for essential goods in Iran, said Iranian Finance and Economic Affairs Minister Farhad Dejpasand, Trend reports referring to IRNA.

According to Dejpasand, Iran currently uses products imported last Iranian year (started March 21, 2018).

Dejpasand added that the government is re-establishing the Ministry of Trade, so that an independent ministry can control the products and the market.

"The market must be controlled by an independent body, because it is now the production enterprises that do this job themselves. It is therefore that the government intends to form the Ministry of Trade," he said.
