Sheki Sherab LLC, an Azerbaijani winery, intends to expand the geography of exports of its products, the winery’s director Vidadi Hasanov told Trend.

He said that the company envisages export deliveries to Belgium in the future.

“The Belgian partners became interested in our products, and this export direction is also interesting for us, because we are striving to increase our export potential,” he noted. “In this regard, we are working on mechanisms to establish exports, conduct talks with our potential partners abroad and collect the necessary documentation and certificates.”

He added that exports to Belgium may be realized in the medium term. “I believe that exports to this country can be established next year, as this year we intend to send the largest share of exports to China and Russia,” he said. “In parallel, we will increase production volumes.”

He noted that the largest share of exports accounts for white wine.

Sheki Sherab LLC was founded in 2006 with design production capacity of 280,000 bottles of wine. The company has equipment supplied by Italian company “Della Toffola.”

There are workshops for receiving grapes, and producing and bottling of various brands of wine at the plant. The plant has two bunkers for receiving white and red grape varieties, two production lines for white and red wines, and one more line for the production of elite wines.
