Azerbaijan’s Karmen LLC flour production company plans to arrange export to the neighboring countries of the region, the company told Trend.

According to the source, it is planned to export the flour to Iran, Turkey and Georgia.

"This year we arranged small-scale deliveries to Iran and Georgia. For now, we are waiting for new orders, including those from Turkey. We produce 1st, 2nd and highest grade flour, which is exported in 20 and 50 kg packages. The highest export demand is for the highest grade flour. It is more expensive in its value and, accordingly, better in quality. The cost of 50 kg of the highest grade flour is 24.50 manats. The 1st grade flour, also exported in 50 kg packages, costs 22.50 manats per package", the company said.

It was also noted that the company produces peeled flour at a cost of 4.60 manats per 20 kg, which is sold on the domestic market for baking bran bread.

“Flour is in greatest demand during the winter period, so at this time, the sales are the highest. The lowest demand is observed in summertime, which affects sales volumes; they drop significantly. Overall, the products are sold out by the end of the year and do not stale in the warehouses," the company said.

The factory uses equipment of German, Turkish and Italian production.
