The cost of food products in Kazakhstan increased by 5.9 percent during last six months, Trend reports with reference to Committee of Statistics of Kazakhstan.
Furthermore, the cost of non-food products increased by 2.2 percent, whereas paid services cost decreased by 0.9 percent.
As for the of meat prices, lamb increased by 9.2 percent, frozen fish by 8.7 percent, horse meat by 6 percent, beef by 5.9 percent, poultry meat by 5.4 percent, meat products by 4.9 percent, sausages by 3.9 percent and pork by 4.8 percent.
Since the beginning of the year, the millet price increased by 35.2 percent, fresh vegetables by 17.4 percent, flour by 14 percent, rice by 12 percent, bread by 8.5 percent, pasta products by 7.5 percent, fresh fruit by 7.3 percent, hard curd cheese by 5.2 percent, bakeries and flour products by 4.8 percent, tea by 3.6 percent, and pastry by 3.4 percent.
Soft drinks price increased by 7.9 percent, alcoholic beverages by 5.1 percent, tobacco products by five percent.
In turn, the decrease of the price is observed on eggs (9.8 percent), raw milk (3.8 percent), cottage cheese (2.4 percent), buckwheat grouts 91.6 percent) and sugar (1.1 percent).
The increase of pricing is observed on medicines (4.8 percent), cars (3.7 percent), furniture (3.6 percent), textile products (3.4 percent), clothing and footwear (3.3 percent), cleaning products (three percent) and goods of personal use (2.9 percent).
Meanwhile, price on petrol decreased by 4.6 percent, diesel fuel by 1.3 percent, and liquefied gas in cylinders by 0.9 percent.
