Azerbaijan’s Akkord Industry Construction Investment Corporation OJSC has almost completed the development of a plan for the installation of metal structures, as part of a project to reconstruct an oil refinery in Baku, a source in the company told Trend.
The company prepared the development of project documents and determined the technical parameters for participation in the project, according to the source.
“Phased implementation of the oil refinery reconstruction project is planned, this is while the Akkord company will be fully involved in the installation work,” the source noted.
Presently, this is one of the biggest projects in which the company will participate, the source said.
“In the coming months, we plan to participate in a project of a hotel under construction, located on the territory of Baku Seaside Boulevard,” the source added. “It is expected that the corporation will install metal structures of the building, as well as carry out mounting work.”
Akkord has taken an active part in the construction of road infrastructure in Galaba Square near the Ganjlik metro station in Baku and at the intersections of adjacent streets, designed by the Singapore company Surbana International Consultants PTC LTD.
Presently, Akkord Corporation holds the leading position in the implementation of projects for the construction of bridges, tunnels and other road projects, in the construction of residential houses and other public buildings, as well as in the production of building materials.
