Currently, Phosagro is focused on the priority direction of meeting the needs of Uzbekistan for environmentally friendly complex mineral fertilizers, Deputy General Director for sales and marketing of the Russian company PhosAgro Sergey Pronin told Trend in an interview.

“Supplies in the CIS remain strategically important for the development of PhosAgro’s global sales. Thus, direct deliveries of PhosAgro products to Uzbekistan began less than a year ago and acquired a systemic nature in early 2019. During this relatively short period of time, we began to better understand the requirements of end consumers and are ready for the active development of supplies to farmers of Uzbekistan,” Pronin said.

He said that the benefits to Uzbekistan from cooperation with PhosAgro are obvious, as the company is one of the world's largest producers of phosphate fertilizers and can fully satisfy Uzbekistan’s need for them.

“At the same time, following the strategy of a universal supplier, we provide methodological support for our products and teach the customers how to use them correctly,” Pronin said.

He added that PhosAgro will create a working group that will consider various areas of cooperation with Uzbekistan.

Earlier, Trend reported on the plans of Uzbekistan in establishing cooperation with Phosagro.

PhosAgro is a Russian vertically integrated company, one of the world's leading manufacturers of phosphorus-containing fertilizers.

The company is one of the most technologically advanced phosphate fertilizer producers in the world and one of the few companies producing high-quality apatite concentrate.
