Kazakhstan to increase agricultural goods manufacturing

The meat manufacturing complex is to be launched and construction of a new base for expansion of milk manufacturing is to be completed in the Novouzensk rural district of Kazakhstan’s Karaganda region, Trend reports with reference to the press office of the region’s akimat (administrative center).
Thus, the construction of animal husbandry complex is being implemented by April farming venture. The cost of the project is one billion tenge, some 300 million tenge of which account for private investments. The thoroughbred animals are to be purchased in Switzerland and Germany for the production of pork. The capacity is to be 5,000 tons of meat a year.
“The technology of Big Dutchman, which will be used on the complex, is based on modern intensified resource-efficient manufacturing with full automation of all processes. The complex is to be launched in fall of 2019. Following the launch, some 20 new work places will be created with future increase of this number by five times,” Head of the Complex Denis Kobelev said.
The Salem farm is also working on expansion of manufacturing. The venture has been operating since 2017 and currently it has 600 cows and bulls of Simmental breed kept here. These animals have been purchased from Luhansk of Ukraine and Bashkortostan of Russia. During summer cows produce up to two tons of milk a day.
“The third base, which is to include 400 heads of cattle is to be launched by September. The project is being realized via private investments worth nearly 400 million tenge. The expansion of the manufacturing will allow to increase the milk production to five tons of milk a day and will additionally create 32 new work places,” Head of the Salem Nurzhan Rakhimbayev said.
He further stated that the production processes are completely automatized. The equipment of Italian, Polish and Russian manufacturing was purchased for the new base.
