The biscuit factory “Lezzet Gida” located in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic plans to begin developing new types of confectionery this fall, a source in the factory told Trend.
This includes production of new types of cookies and marmalade, according to the source.
“The factory plans to establish new production in October-November this year and by the end of this year, the updated varieties will appear in the country’s retail chains,” the source said. “In addition, it is expected that by the end of the year a new line for packing pistachios and almonds in packages of various weight will be launched."
"Production volumes of the factory compared with last year’s figures haven’t changed, but taking into account market demand, as well as growing competition, we intend to increase the factory’s production capacity by 1.5 times in 2019,” added the source.
The products of “Lezzet Gida” have a certificate of conformity from the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.
The factory has modern Turkish-made equipment.
