Goychay Sud OJSC, a dairy and fruit juices producer in Azerbaijan, is expanding the production of cheeses, a source at the company told Trend.
According to the source, the company is planning to increase the production of Chanakh cheese, for which there is significant demand in the domestic market.
"There is a demand for this type of cheese in any season of the year and sales volumes are stably high; therefore, it is economically feasible to expand production volumes of this product. To this end, the company plans to open a new facility for the production of this cheese in the near future. Due to the commissioning of additional capacities, it is expected to increase the production output by 50 percent per year. Since early 2019, the company has produced 90 tons of cheese," the source said.
The source noted that the dairy products of the company are fully intended for sale on the domestic market.
The company is operating at full capacity and is using modern Swiss and Italian equipment.
