Sabirabad Cannery, Azerbaijan’s largest producer of canned goods, plans to expand the geography of juice exports, the enterprise told Trend.
According to the source, this involves foreign supplies of pomegranate juice.
“Today, the company's products are exported to Russia and the Baltic countries. We plan to increase the exports of pomegranate juice to these countries. The enterprise’s current production capacity is 10–11 million bottles a year. We plan to bring these volumes to 13 million bottles, and the bulk of the produce will be put up for export. The remaining 3-5 percent will be sold domestically," the source said.
The company noted that in the medium term, the plant intends to arrange deliveries to Central Asia.
The company's products have a Certificate of Conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.
The factory has been operating since 1982, and uses equipment of Italian and Moldovan production.
