Orelay, an Azerbaijani confectionery manufacturer, is developing a new range of confectionery products, the company's Deputy Director Ilgar Karimov told Trend.
The deputy director noted that the new range of products include various types of marmalade.
"The company is expanding its marmalade assortment. Soon new varieties of this product with taste of lemon, orange and berries will be presented. Marmalade is in the greatest demand in the market, therefore we periodically work on updating the production line," Karimov said.
The deputy director added that the company plans to develop new types of chocolate products and wafers.
"Volumes of production at the enterprise differ, depending on market demand. This principle applies to all types of confectionery, so that the products are fully sold on the market, and not stored in warehouses. The confectionery factory located in Agdash district has a considerable production capacity, we are capable of producing up to 100,000 tons of confectionery per month," he said.
According to the deputy director, the company currently produces over 10 types of confectionery.
The products manufactured by Orelay have a certificate of conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.
The company uses German, Turkish and Austrian equipment.
