The biggest Azerbaijani plant for the production of alcoholic beverages - Jalilabad-2 launched a new line for the production of vodka, a source in the plant told Trend.
According to the source, the plant purchased new types of equipment, as well as techno filters that have been already installed in the vodka production workshop.
“The products are intended for sale in the domestic market, as well as for export,” the source said. “We plan to supply products to the markets of Belarus, China and Poland.”
The source stressed that the products are expected to be supplied to the Chinese market, as well as to Poland, till late 2019.
"The biggest share of the products which are exported to these countries accounts for cognac and wine,” the source said. “We plan to supply vodka outside the country from 2020."
In total, three types of vodka are planned to be produced.
The products of the plant have a Certificate of Conformity issued by the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents.
The Italian and Bulgarian equipment has been installed in the plant.
