Goychay Sud OJSC, a dairy and fruit juices producer in Azerbaijan, expanded the production of cheese, the enterprise told Trend.
According to the source, the company increased the production of Chanakh cheese.
"This is the most popular type of cheese on the local market. We increased the production of this type of dairy products by opening a new cheese production workshop. Currently, the production capacity of the new cheese production reaches 50 percent, but we expect to increase this figure to 100 percent from next year," the source said.
It was also noted that cheese products are intended for sale on the domestic market.
“Since the beginning of this year, the company has produced more than 105 tons of cheese. It is planned to increase this volume by at least 1.5 times,” the source said.
According to the enterprise, the dairy products of the enterprise are fully designed for sale on the domestic market, and are not intended for export outside the country.
The company is operating at full capacity and is using modern Swiss and Italian equipment.
