Azerbaijan’s Ganja Instrumentation Factory, the biggest producer of gas control points in Azerbaijan, will expand export geography of its products, the company’s Deputy Director Yusif Pashazade told Trend.

Pashazade noted that the Kyrgyz market is supposed to be a new export destination.

“The negotiations are underway in this direction, and the mechanisms for exporting the plant’s products to a new market are being worked out,” Pashazade said. “The Central Asian market is attractive to us, we have established stable deliveries to Kazakhstan, and we look forward to the soonest deliveries to Kyrgyzstan. According to our estimates, export to Kyrgyzstan may begin closer to the end of 2019.”

Pashazade noted that since the beginning of 2019, the plant has exported products worth over 1.6 million manat ($943,122).

“We plan to export mainly water meters and gas control points to the Kyrgyz market,” Pashazade said. “The primary volumes of supplies will become known in the next one or two months.”

($1= 1.7 manat on Oct. 10)
