Georgia reduces exports of ferroalloys to Turkey

Georgia exported 12,225 tons of ferroalloys to Turkey from January through September 2019, Trend reports referring to the Georgian National Statistics Office (Geostat).

During the reporting period, ferroalloys totaling $13.1 million were exported from Georgia to Turkey.

On an annualized basis, Georgia reduced the export of ferroalloys by 1.68 times. Over the same period last year, 20,643 tons of ferroalloys totaling $25.1 million were exported from Georgia to Turkey.

For nine months of 2019, total imports to Georgia from Turkey amounted to $1.1 billion. In turn, Georgia exported goods worth $155 million to Turkey.

The foreign trade turnover of Georgia with Turkey from January to August 2019 exceeded $1.2 billion, which is 14.1 percent of the total trade turnover of Georgia.
