The Polish Zakrzewscy Meat Processing Plant plans to build a meat factory in Uzbekistan’s city of Karshi, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.
“Our company is interested in the construction of a meat processing plant in Karshi with a capacity of 50 to 100 tons of processed meat daily including slaughter, cutting, deboning, sorting, cooling, packaging. It is planned to pack, label and sell the products in the network of our own stores with an investment of 10 million euros,” said Dariusz Zakrzewski, president of the company.
This project will provide employment for about 200 people.
Zakrzewski said that he plans to visit Uzbekistan in the near future to familiarize himself with local conditions, find a place for the construction of a meat processing plant and identify an Uzbek partner and the region’s potential for cattle and small livestock.
