Manual defibrillator has been manufactured in Iran for the first time, said Jamal Tavalli, director of the control department over the production and quality of medical equipment of the Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education, Trend reports referring to the ministry’s website.
Tavalli said that the equipment was manufactured by Iran’s Electro Optic SaIran Industries Company and the ministry has licensed its mass production.
The Relive DM5 manual defibrillator can operate in both manual and semi-automatic mode and is equipped with a pacemaker.
This equipment was designed and manufactured to be used by physicians or persons who undergo special treatment.
