Iranian Statistical Center has published a report on the country’s economic development for the nine months of this Iranian year (from March 21 through Dec. 21, 2019), Director of the Iranian Statistical Center Javad Hosseinzadeh said, Trend reports referring to the Iranian Statistical Center.
Hosseinzadeh noted that Iran’s non-oil growth has improved over the past nine months compared to the previous two seasons, reaching 0 percent, and 0.9 percent in the autumn.
“In the first nine months, economic growth was 3.2 percent in agricultural sector, 3.2 percent in industrial and mining (excluding oil) sector, 0.2 percent in services sector and 9.6 percent in construction sector,” the director said.
Hosseinzadeh added that when calculating economic development including oil, processing of crude oil and gas are considered as one of the economic sectors. In the autumn, oil economic growth increased by 1.7 percent compared to previous seasons, the director noted.
