An online business forum will be held between entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan and exporting organizations of Uzbekistan from 9 to 12 June 2020, Trend reports with reference to Caspian Event Organisers.
The forum was organized by the Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Azerbaijan, Export and Investment Promotion Foundation in Azerbaijan, Small and Medium Business Development Agency of Azerbaijan, and the Caspian Event Organisers.
The forum entitled 'Made in Uzbekistan Online' is an effective business platform for getting acquainted with Uzbek products and establishing new business connections between Azerbaijani and Uzbek entrepreneurs, said the report, and shall contribute to mitigating the negative impact of the coronavirus pandemic on various sectors of the economy, as well as serve as a tool to support business in the conditions of pandemic for both Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
It is expected that 57 Uzbek export-oriented manufacturers and over 60 entrepreneurs from Azerbaijan will participate in the business forum.
The official opening of the plenary session of the forum with participation of representatives of ministries, agencies and companies of the two countries is scheduled for 8 June.
The business forum program includes sessions on food industry and agriculture (on June 9), automotive and mining industry (on June 10), light industry (on June 11), and electrotechnical industry (on June 12).
Caspian Event Organisers LLC is engaged in providing services for congresses, conferences and meetings as well as in organization of participation at exhibitions, running advertising campaigns, organizing official ceremonies, gala dinners, sightseeing tours, sports and other events.
