The price of apartments in Tehran has increased by 42 percent in the third month of the current Iranian year (May 21-June 20, 2020) compared to the same month the previous Iranian year, Trend reports citing Ministry of Roads and Urban Development of Iran.
According to the report, the price of a square meter of apartment in Tehran increased by 12.1 percent compared to last month (April 20 - May 20, 2020).
“In the third month, the average price of an apartment in 22 areas of Tehran was 190 million rials (about $4,540) per square meter,” the report said.
In the third month, 11,000 buy/sell operations were recorded.
“The most expensive apartment per square meter was registered in the 1st district. Thus, 332 million rials (about $7,920) per square meter,” the report said.
“The lowest price was 88 million rials (about $2,090) per square meter,” the report noted.
